Elena Estrin, Ed.M, M.A.
The Founder
Elena Estrin is a consultant, educator, and counselor with more than 30 years of administrative leadership, teaching, and counseling experience.
Elena’s passion is helping and inspiring her diverse clients, in a collaborative and nurturing way, to facilitate and achieve positive changes in their lives.
Among Elena’s clients are non profit and for profit organizations engaged in establishing vocational institutions in New York State, as well as high school and college students at different stages of their academic careers.
Elena graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University, with her Master of Arts Degree in Organizational and Counseling Psychology and Master of Education Degree in Counseling Psychology.
Elena worked for 14 years as Chief Academic Officer and Academic Dean at a Bachelor Degree granting institution in the New York metropolitan area. In her tenure as Academic Dean, Elena was responsible for the academic leadership of the institution, which included education and general scholarship. She recruited, oriented, and supervised full and part-time faculty, and ensured ongoing development of academic programs. She contributed to establishing and continuously maintaining the focus and infrastructure of the institution to provide college education to students from diverse backgrounds. She was instrumental to the overall planning and development of the institution.
Elena’s most recent experience has entailed providing consulting services to organizations engaged in the process of establishing vocational institutes in New York metropolitan area. The consulting services include designing and obtaining approval of occupational and non-occupational academic curricula, establishing academic policies and procedures, hiring and orienting faculty, and submitting applications for licensure.
Elena’s past work experience includes her position as Director of Human Resources, Public Relations Manager, Freelance Editor/Interpreter, Professor of Psychology and Professor of English as a Second Language.
